Our next adventure.....

Well....in the morning, we take off to head to St. Louis, MO. We are going to stop for the night in southern Illinois and arrive at Jellystone Park on Sunday. We will then enjoy Six Flags Great America as much as we can (we got a 6 Flags season pass at KY Kingdom last weekend). On the morning of the 5th, we'll start heading home. That night (Thursday night), we're going to stop over at the KOA in Terre Haute. I know, only ~90 minutes from home, but I'll be better off to have a good rest before hitting the door home and having to unpack everything. So...Linda or any other TH locals....if you'd like to stop in at the KOA and see us, you are welcome to! I have pics of the RV (and us!) on  http://www.picturetrails.com/sweetsherri61 . We'll be arriving home next Friday. There is suppose to be WIFI everywhere so if I can, I'll check in with you guys while we're parked. Hopefully, this trip will be a dry one! LOL! Sherri

Next Thursday you will be in TH? That's cool, I'll see if I can make it down there. Lol, I'm sad to admit I don't have any idea where the TH KOA is. Can you post that, or mail it to me? Linda Vicory

Linda, On I70, get off at exit 11 and head east. You'll see the signs. Years ago (~1985 or so), I use to take my kids there to the pool. That was when I lived in Clinton. Getting in as a visitor was pretty cheap back then...$1 or $2 per person. Sherri

Julie, I just checked Weather.com. In St. Louis, there's a 30% chance of isolated T-storms today, Wed. & Thursday. The rest of the days is 10%..which, those days, they consider them 'sunny'. I think during the summer and with the heat, they have to give a percentage to everyday just-in-case. I'm hoping the percentage work in our favor and we stay dry (from the weather anyway) this round. We hopefully got the leak taken care of in my closet. It's going to have to rain and that stay dry before I'll trust it enough to put all my clothes in it again. I'm glad the doctor appointment went well with Marsha. Sherri

With the RV, my lead foot isn't so much a problem. I go WAY slower in it. Besides, those 18-wheelers and the wind likes to try to push our top-heavy MH off the road! We'll just have to watch it after July 1st because of the seatbelt law changes. Hope to see yiy Thursday night! Sherri btw...have you & Linda met?
