Humana

I haven't post in a while and need help finding a psych doctor, the one went to see told me that I had to take a test and scheduled it the following week and called me the evening before to tell me that my insurance won't cover testing. So I need another doctor that takes Humana insurance.

I don't know much about Humana, but if you can't find a regular psych doc who takes your insurance, you could try a counseling center at a university. They often times have student doctors or interns do evaluations and testing at reduced fees. They are supervised by a regular psych doc though. Just a thought.  Linda Vicory

If you know what I know, you would go with the psych doctor at St. Vincent Hospital. I have Humana and went to a different psych dr. I took us 3days to finish every day was a $40 dollar copay. When I was finish with the psych it took me 2more months to get an approval date because the dr didnot know much about bari surgery so she wanted me to do alot of things that bari center already would have me to do. So Amy could not call it in until someone else tooked a look at it .It  was a no ending thing. It goes a lot quicker with going to the bari center.
