Surgery on Monday

Dear Friend I believe you have yourself well covered in preparing for surgery knowing that the Lord will be watching over you. I know when I had my surgery, I total peace about it, knowing that God was there with me and the surgical team. I will add you to our prayer list for Monday as we pray for you, Dr Diaz, and the medical team that you have a very uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery. God will do His part, and then you have to do yours by following the instructions after surgery. God Bless Dan
If you have a prayer request whether WLS or personal, please visit our website at www.packardministries.org and click on PRAYER or email me at [email protected]
You will be added to our daily prayers. One of our ministry objectives is to support those having or had WLS. Pastor Dan
Let's see...pain... At the worst it was comparable to taking a cheap laxative and having the resulting gas/cramps. My pain only lasted for a day or two. I didn't want to take the liquid pain killer (narcotic) because I wanted to be able to drive as soon as possible. But I dumped (big time) on liquid Tylenol. So I opted to tough it out. It really wasn't bad. I probably would have only taken the tylenol for another day or two.
The hospital sent me home with a binder that really came in handy. Especially for laying down to sleep. You may find yourself more comfortable in a recliner for the first few nights as laying flat can be a pain. Literally. Best wishes.
Annette
I can eat as much as I want...I just don't want much.
I'm ashamed of what I did for a Klondike bar...
