Good Morning Indiana

Good Morning Everyone, I haven't been able to get online much- my roadrunner has been acting up, so I believe that we are getting rid of it until we are able to be back home and able to have our own computer and all back as normal. I will miss you all, I am already having OH withdrawls!!! I hope everyone has been doing well! How are you all?? Jessyca, Mindi, Vicki, Cheryl, Kim, all of you newbies I am curious!!!

 

Ok Sherri, Ellen, Pamela, Sam,Gail,Linda, Angie,Bonnie, Cindy, Carla, Dan, Kylie, Karen, How are you all??? I know that I am missing ALOT of names here, but it is early and I am trying to get my fix while I am able, please if you do not have it already, please get my numbers - see Sherri-and give me a call, I would love to chat!!! I am still recooping from my PS- I still have the drain, I can not wait for this to come out! I have a small opening that has come open and is draining, we are keeping an eye on it, Dr. Grasse said with having over a 3 foot incision that this is normal although she would have rathered it not have happened, it has, and is not something to be overly alarmed about, just keep an eye on it!!! The house is going slow but going!!!! We are getting all of the lists together and are now having to price everything that was lost with a dollar figure. That is a tough one, especially when someone else did the inventory and having to decipher their descriptions-we are hanging in there though and looking forward to being back in our home as soon as possible, probably still looking at 3-4 months at least, though! I hope that everyone has been enjoying their journeys and enjoying the weather. It has been great! I can not wait till I am able to go swimming and be able to enjoy the water and all myself, hopefully it won't be much longer!!!! Hope you all have a great day!!! Hugz Dawn

Dawn,   Its good to hear from you.  Im sorry to hear u are having trouble with your roadrunner.  I had a bf years ago whos house burned down and I helped them inventory all the loss and it was a huge job.  I dont envy you all that work at all.  You remain in my thoughts and prayers.   As for me.  We closed on our new house 2 weeks ago and Im flat broke.  We had to have our downpayment...then with the 2 acres we had to buy a riding lawn mower (gets delivered tomorrow), the water is well water and the house didnt have a water softner...so we had to go buy one and it needed a water heater.   This weekend I pulled weeds and planted flowers.  Then yesterday I started stripping off wall paper.  The whole house was done in "old lady blue"  and I cant stand blue so Im changing everything in the house...One room at a time.  Yesterday I got the foyer, stairs and upstairs hall done and started on the guest bedroom.   My wt loss has sucked the last 2 weeks.  I gain 2 lbs last week and 2 lbs this week.  Im hoping it from stress and Ive been very careful the last 2 days to make sure I dont overeat or eat anything I shouldnt.  How is your wt doing since surgery?? Hi there! I'm doing pretty good. My decision to leave working at the shelter on the weekends has felt like a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. I know I can continue my riding lessons through the summer (because we've paid ahead for  them), I just don't know about after that. But still working seven days a week was really wearing on me.  Otherwise, doing good. The kids are happy to be out for the summer. We took them both to Chuck E. Cheese's in Avon to celebrate last Friday being the last day of school (even though the little one isn't even in school yet, hehe). We won gobs of tickets on the games. My husband's really good at them. He got almost 1000 tickets on his own.  Hugs to all, Linda Vicory

AS FOR ME I AM DOING A BIT BETTER STILL HAVE A SMALL ISSUE WITH A PLACE THAT WONT HEAL BUT I WILL LIVE. I GO FOR MY 2 MONTH CHECK UP NEXT WEEK AND I HOPE TO BE OVER 65 POUNDS BY THEN. I HIT 59.5 THIS MORNIG. I CANT TELL IT BY LOOKS BUT I AM IN PANTS THAT ARENT STRETCHY NOW FIRST TIME IN 15 YEARS.WE MISS CHATTING WITH YOU TOO.  PAM LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED ANYTHING FOR THE NEW HOUSE LIKE HELP OR JUST SOMEONE TO TALK TO WHEN YOU THINK YOU ARE GOING TO LOSE YOUR MIND ( AND YOU WILL FROM TIME TO TIME) MISS YA.. My weightloss is at another stand still... I lose 4 lbs REALLY quick and then for a week nothing happens... it's quite frustrating really... did anyone else experience this? I'm almost 3 months out now in a couple of weeks... and I'm still at 54 lbs lost... I just can't get over how much better I feel...

well my grandma is here and we're going to go get some stuff at my dad's... i don't know what we're doing the rest of day... i hope everyone has a great day it's going to be beautiful outsdie today...

wasnt bad. we need to get together soon and do something. weekends stink for me cause jim is spending time with his youngest boy . maybe take in a movie or something

Vicki, I got home from work this morning when I posted....went to bed and was totally exhausted after being off 3 nights and all the work I had done yesterday on the house...didnt take a nap and was up all night.  I passed out when I hit the bed.  THEN: Well I woke up today and my eyes were swollen closed.  Seems I found some Poison Ivy growing up a tree yesterday when I was pulling weeds before I went in and started stripping that wallpaper.  Told Andy I was sticking to the indoors from now on. Ive been miserable all day.  I finally got my dr to call in some prednisone.  I hate the stuff it causes me to swell but that and benadryl are the only things that make life tolerable when I have it so bad.  Its on my arms legs and face. 

I did manage to sit thru 1/2 of my nephews graduation tonight from high school but my eyes were bothering me so bad I had to leave after he got his diploma.   We went to Lowes on the way to the graduation and I bought the paint for the foryer and halls.  So if you dont do anything Fri night and/or Sat I'll be at the new house alone becouse Andys working.  You can come sit and talk to me while I work or I'll have an extra paint brush if u want to help.  Just your company would be great in my book.  So If you dont find anything else to do...I can send u directions.  Everyones welcome...lol
