Any Deacones WLS patients out there???

I would like to connect with Deaconess WLS patients.  I am hoping to have gastric by-pass surgery late July.  The Insurance hurdle is over so its time to sit and wait.  It would be nice to email with those who have navigated the system or those who are doing it now.  Not all programs are the same.  I think networking with others could be a big help. Hey its nice to hear from someone from deaconess. I had surgery on 8/8/06 and have lost 155lbs.doing great. I have had my share of problems. My problems have been from my other medical problems tho. (lupus). Dr. Burry knows me on a 1st name basis not sure if thats a good thing! haha! I have not updated my profile in a very long time. If you have any questions you can e-mail me as much as u want [email protected] once my insurance approved me the wait was very short just long enough for me to do my optifast. I am thinking that they must be really booked for surgery because I have a friend who is waiting awhile for the lap band. So how do you like dr. Burry and Koehler? I think they are great!!
