Who is hating Monday???

I can't believe the weekend went by soooo quickly!!! My butt is so sore form my bike ride yesterday. I can't wait to get this week over because Friday I am leaving for FLORIDA!!!!  We are doing a road trip this year.  My daughter did not know that you caould drive to vacation.  She thought you could only fly.  What a spoiled kid!!! Hope everyone has a great day!!! What's everyone having for lunch today???  I am having a 1/2 of a 6-inch double meat subway club and a few sun chips.

Rainy days and Mondays always get me down.  That is what the old Carpenters song says anyway. I'm hoping for a quiet day at work to get back in the swing. It is supposed to rain today, which is a good thing.  The showers the last few days have skipped us and our ground is bone dry. I need water to get my new pasture to grow.  My DH left at noon yesterday for St. Louis.  he has a conference there till Wed. He asked me to go but I declined this trip.  Now I wish I hadn't.  I had a quiet afternoon yesterday, watched a movie, then decided to go out and ride my horse.  In the evening I went to a friends for dinner and watched another movie.    Today for lunch I'm having part of a grilled chicken breast that was marinated in sesame ginger salad dressing and a broccoli/cauliflower salad that I made on Saturday.   I used the same sesame ginger dressing (Marzetti) on the salad and put in celery, onion, walnuts and raisins.  It tastes so good.  Have a good Monday, time for me to get crackin.

Hi everyone, Even thought it is gloomy today ya gotta love alittle rain after all of the dry days.MAYBE we'll get some rain- we had storms come & go all weekend & got a few sprinkles is all. Oh, I didn't get to ride my girlfriends horse- their pasture is so day they had to move them.  Well, it is off to the Drs. for me, then to my daughters to help pack the u-haul. Yesturday it really hit me they are moving away. We'd gone to dinner at cracker Barrel,had walked to the car & Willow had gotten in when Jax came out his side and gave me a big squeese and kiss- all of a sudden she came across the saet, out the door jumped into my arms and said "don't forget me, Grammy-I love you!!"Oh my gosh, my heart melted and cracked right there on the spot!!!Sniff-sniff Maelanie- where in Fla. are you going? We'll be in Pinelles Park, andd Venice beach area.Road trip= fun!! ((hugs)) Ellen

I'm not liking today because I'm starting week 4 post-op and haven't lost an ounce this week.  Sigh.  Whatever.  I do get to go see my PCP this morning and show him that my BP has stayed in the "normal" range for the last two weeks without medications!  Hooray for that!   This is my last week of full liquids (hallelujah!) so for lunch I'm having an ounce of cottage cheese and an ounce of applesauce.  Easy to take to work.  :0) Everyone have a great week! Some Mondays are fine...others...you just wonder 'why the heck did I choose THIS job???'. Guess which Monday I am having! Ah well, tomorrow is Tuesday and hopefully will be a better day! At any rate, it will be one day closer to the weekend! LOL! Hmmm...lunch.... Well, I didn't bring anything so I'm kinda at the mercy of the cafateria. There are four within walking distance so surely one of them will have something that sounds good. Have a peachy day! Sherri

Well I am off for the next 2 days yippee.......lol  I had a wonderful weekend Celeberated my birthday on Saturday with my family. Then on Sunday we had an Open house for my son who is going to Graduate on Tuesday evening. Then also I have to go to the hospital tomorrow Theresa a co worker is having her RNY surgery tomorrow so I will have a busy day tomorrow.  Hope everyone is having a great day at work......lol.   Take care  Bonnie :wave:
