Firday- whatcha doing this weekend?

Hi everyone, Where is everyone today- busy I guess?!  We are going to a cook out with our firends that raise horses so I plan to get on one & . The last one I rode was " CHUBBY MOLLY" a huge old work horse that ran into trees!!! It was the biggest one in the corral and my legs stood straight out and barely reached the stirrups. By the time our ride was over I was black and blue and could barely walk !!!! of course I was 260# ,so they  give me him~ poor thing, I'm sure it suffered too! It was our first ride at a State Park, and my last. Linda, you sure are an inspiration to me!! Oh, my stomach is such a mess and so painful. They put me on some high powered antibiotics and pain killers. I can't believe this has happened after 20 months. I had 12 steroid shots in my incisions after surgery because of the extreme pain that I had due to a severed nerve. The area has always been bruised and has knots, and is thin skinned. Anyway, when they pulled off the  bandage & tape , my skin tore- so now I have even more sore areas.Dr. Inman said the suture material they used in 2005 was the problem, since I had lost a stitch there, and this is the result of that. Sorry to be so graphic,atleast it isn't deep and I don't have to have surgery to repair it. Sherri, you are anThanks for taking my call and hearing my frustrations. Hey everyone! Another BUSY day! I am SO looking forward to getting out of here for the weekend! Bill & I about have the RV loaded up. We're going to the Greenfield KOA for a weekend get-away. We're using it as a shake-down to see what ele we need to do to the rv. There's an indoor pool there so I can't wait to take a dip! Ellen....I'll take your calls anytime sweetie! Sherri

Ellen I hope you start feeling better soon.  It is had to believe that after all this time that incision decided to flare up. Now that they know waht the problem is they should be able to solve it. Hope you enjoy your ride.  I got on my horse the other day for the first time in months. (just lack of time) I have some doozy sore groing muscles.  I plan to get on again the next two days.  It get's a little easier each time.  I fell off him a couple of times when I was at 300 so it's been a little hard to get back on that proverbial horse.   I love the guy though, wouldn't trade him.  It was my fault ,not his. He did buck off a friend of mine.  I don't know why I've never seen him buck in the 4 years that I've had him.  (His previous owner was shocked when she heard also) Worst thing was she had just found out she was pregnant but hadn't told anyone.  She wasn't hurt, just shook up. Baby came Apirl 26 with no problems.  I have a little landscape work left that didn't get done a couple of weeks ago that I want to finish. That should pretty much take care of our weekend.  I may get a inflateable raft and lounge in the pond if stays this hot. We are going to El Azteca for dinner tonite to celebrate a friends BD. (same one that got bucked off) It is our fav mex restraunt. They have a great mesquite chicken/black bean quesadilla.  My mouth is watering just thinking about it.  I went to Wally world at lunch today and it was a zoo.  I can't imagine what it will be like later.  Hope you girls have great trips this weekend.  I'm still hoping to make it to the pool party.  We'll have to see what gas prices are then. I want to see you all but it takes a tank of gas in our small car to make the trip and that is $40.

It's Friday!   It's Friday! Gotta do my happy dance, 'cause it's Friday! Can't wait to get off work and go anywhere!!!   May stop by Wally World and get some Olay Regenerist Lotions and treat myself to a facial tonight.  Tomorrow is a trek to Edinburgh and the Coldwater Creek outlet.  Then off to a surprise birthday party for my DH's cousin. Sunday is filled with church and friends as usual.  Then  back to the same old grind again. I really need a vacation!

I LOVE Coldwater Creek!   I just can't afford it.   I'm hoping to find some bargains at the outlet.  My friend says to shop their clearance online, but you have to buy things fast as they sell right out from under you if you don't check-out quick enough.

This weekend, I (of course) have to work. Bah. I am taking the kids to Chuck E. Cheese's in Avon tonight. (That's the closest one to Terre Haute, according to the Chuck E. Cheese webpage.) We're celebrating Mikey's passage from 3rd grade into 4th grade.  Sunday morning, I'll have my riding lesson. I missed it yesterday because of my anniversary date with my hubby. Incidentally, my surprise for the evening was going out in a limo to the Black Angus steakhouse restaurant. How fun was that?!?! It was a blast! Linda Vicory
