JENNIE BIGGS
Dear Friends and Prayer Warriors
I got an email from Tom, Jennie's loving husband late last night that Jennie was out of surgery that took over 7 hours. She was in alot of pain as expected but they were giving her pain medication that was working.
Just a few moments ago I received an update that I am sharing with you below. Praise God that it appears the surgery went well, even though it will be a few days before they know for sure. Let us all continue with our prayers that total healing will now take place. Ann and I plan out next visit to her on June 1st when we will be in Carmel.
Since I am back in my ministerial studies now, I can say that Tom and Jennie live out a life of faith in God. I never leave the hospital room down there without receiving a blessing.
Now to the good news from Tom.
Dan

Dear Friends and Family,
Hello again from room 261, St. Vincent Carmel, and thank you for taking time out of your busy Memorial Day weekend to check on my dear Jennie. The medications they are giving her seem to be keeping her pain and nausea under control. She has been up twice today and sat in a chair next to the bed, the first time for about ten minutes and the second time for about forty-five minutes. The doctors believe the all the repairs they did in surgery yesterday went well, but they won't know for sure for a few days.
Judy Smith, Sandy Thomas, Bob & Barb Smith, Juanita Maple, Pat Shafer, and Rob Schwarze spent the entire day with me at the hospital yesterday, while my dear Jennie was in surgery and the recovery room.
I thank the Lord for surrounding Jennie and me with family, friends, and many prayer warriors we don't know, who lift us up to our Heavenly Father daily in prayer. I also would like to take this time once again to thank you all for the cards and gifts; it really warms my heart when I see my dear Jennie's face light up, each time I read an encouraging email message to her, or she opens a card or package from one of you. This past year has not been easy, but I thank the Lord for drawing me closer to Him, and my wife, and for teaching me patience and perseverance.
Have a blessed day,
Tom

Papa Dan, Thanks so much for continuing to keep us posted on Jennie. Im so glad something is finally going well for her. How are you doing...still good I hope. Im so glad to hear u are back in the ministry now. Andy and I signed on our house this week. We also got a new addition to our family. We adopted a 7 week old male kitten. Hes grey and is so adorable. Hes all over the place. I got him for Andy for his birthday this week. Its been a very busy week here and my work is just begining. We have so much to do on the new house before I'll move in it. Andy already moved in yesterday....but its so much closer to his work...he had to. I wont be moving right away since my job is still here. I will be spending all my days off painting and cleaning while Andy is putting up new walls, radient heat and new flooring throughout.

I got your letter in the mail today! Thanks for thinking of me. I have had a crazy few days but I'll be home tomorrow if u want to call or I can call you. Yesterday Andys car broke down so I had to drive him to the Airport and then today I had to deal with getting his car towed since it was here in Richmond and he was in Indy working.
Today was my moms birthday and my parents 45 anniversery. My sister and I took my mom to the Outback for dinner becouse my dad had to work. Then I stopped by to see my aunt who had surgery last week. Thats Sam...shes always got something to say about sex....lol. I had read that last week. Speaking of sex...how is Jim liking that new body of yours. Are those hips still causing you trouble???....lol So whats new with you and the kids. How is the weather in Austin? I noticed u finally posted about your stent problems. I was a good girl and kept your secret. Whats new on that front??? I hope u are doing well. Andy said you heart was just missing me.... If only you coming back for a visit could clear it up. Still keeping you in my prayers. Pamela
