St Vincent Visit Tuesday

Just wanted to check in and let you know that Ann and I visited Jennie Biggs and also Cheryl Cormany yesterday after my appointment in Carmel. Jennie seemed to be druged up pretty good and I could tell she was tired. Had a chance to visit with Tom for awhile since he was taking a break from his computer. I know they are both looking forward to a miriacle this Friday as Jennie has her surgery. Remember they have ask for prayer for Jennie as the surgery begins on Friday. Also visited our friend Cheryl. Caught up with her doing her laps around the hall. That gal could wear this old man out very quickly. She really looked great, especially after having open surgery. What a sweet spirit she has. We had a chance to also meet her daughter from Ft Wayne who is staying with her at the hospital. She expressed appreciation that Floyd and Brenda stopped in on Monday evening and brought her a Gift Bag. I am sure glad because we were half way down to Carmel and remembered that we forgot to pick up a goodie bag before leaving home. As for Papa Dan, all is going pretty well for me. I had the EMG done yesterday and yes I do have a pinched nerve in my elbow area that has been causing the problem with the left hand. They have me scheduled for a consult with a Hand Surgeon on 7 June in Carmel. The only other surgery I may be faceing right now is the hernia and I guess Dr Cacucci and I will decide next Friday at my 18 month check up when she wants to fix that. This Friday I get my EKG done as part of my annual check up. I have had a heart murmer for years now so have to keep on top of it. Darn it is hard to get old. At least now I am back at my ministerial studies that I have so missed these past few months. Keep me in your prayers that this continues on. Papa Dan

You are such a wonderfully supportive person, and I know that both Jennie & Cheryl were blessed by your visit.   I am glad you found out what that pain was coming from. Dang, it is hard geting "more mature"~ It's what I claim~ I'm not getting old!!hee~hee!!! Just think, when you get all those parts fixed you'll be able to run like a ' 57 chevy! I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers- I know your passion is to finish your studies, and you will- cause He is giving you the daily strength you need!"I CAN do ALL things, thru Christ, who strengthens me".
