Lasik Today

Well, I had my lasik today! It seems to have gone really well. I am still wearing the sun glasses they gave me to wear, and things are a bit blurry, but they said to expect that today. I can already see better than I could without my glasses. So that's cool. I am staying in INdy tonight, since I have a recheck at 8:25 in the am tomorrow morning. I was hoping to get to visit Cheryl in the hopsital today, since I'm up that way, but there just wasn't time in the morning. I had to be at the lasik place by 10:30 am.  Linda Vicory

Congrats!!!! How ya doing today? It took me a few weeks to completely adjust...especially mentally. I kept being afraid to leave the house without my glasses. Old habits, huh? Anyway, really happy for you! Sherri

I'm doing pretty good today. I went for the re-check, and they said everything looked good. I'm a little more clear in the left eye, but the doctor said my right eye should catch up as the healing goes on in the next couple of weeks. Either way, I can see fine w/o the glasses. WooHoo! Linda Vicory
