Good morning everyone. I just wanted to wish everyone a very blessed Sunday , for those who are having surgery this week I will keep you in my prayers. As well as everyone else. Yesterday was a rough one for me and jim, we went to the grave site of his mother ( who we lost in 06.. First time he has been since she passed) and father. Placed flowers I had made on the head stone and said a prayer. It was a long trip but was time for us to talk and just be together . Sherri sorry we didnt make it last night but we didnt get back till late. I have to call the doc Monday , semd no matter what I put in my new lil tummy it feels like a brick. I am taking very tiny bites and sipping really slow. It might be that my opening is srinking a little and might have to have it stretched. Hope not but we will see what he says. Then again it might be that I need to drink some hot tea or decaf coffee before I eat to relax everything. That does sem to help. The scales have started to move again , which is a good thing . 5 days with no movemet I was thinking I dont like this ...Lol today for us is going to walmart get dog food , a few things for jim to have for dinner this week and tackle for our fishing trip next weekend. We cant wait. Its a 3 day weekend and we both love fishing so much. Not going to do the camping thing just yet this summer so we are staying at my mothers , she lives on a huge lake in kentucky. Last time I was there I lost 4 pounds in one day walking up and down the hills . Have a blessed day everyone . Vicki

Vicki, Sorry you didn't make it last night. As always, we had a wonderful time visiting with Sherri and Bill, Ellen and Dana, Dawn, Cindy and her children. It was just great. I ran my first 5K race yesterday in at least 12 years. I surprised myself at how well I did especially since there were some major hills. I finished the 3.1 miles in 32:50 minutes. Best part is that I'm not even sore today. Well, hope everyone has a great day. We're off to get a load of dirt so we can get our garden in. Floyd

That sounds like fun to go fishing for the Memorial Day weekend. We are going to our daughter Maggie's first dance recital on the 26th (Saturday). I have to work the next day after that, but then Mike and I both have off on Monday the 28th. I am thinking about taking the kids to Holiday World that day, if I can talk Mike into it. Today is a bummer of a day. I have to work. Atleast I got to sleep in a bit, till 9am. That's sleeping in, in our house! Maggie came in at 9 and woke us up. The morning was spent cleaning and doing laundry before work. Nothing exciting. On my way to work, I stopped at the grocery store. I picked up the new People magazine. They had a cover story about women who had lost 100+ pounds. It said on the cover "No surgery! No gimmicks!". Like there's something wrong with surgery. That kind of ticked me off. Linda Vicory
