Did you have back pain before surgery? Just wondering. It couldn't hurt to get a ps consultation and you could ask if that would help your back pain. Linda Vicory

Just a thought...could your back pain be due to the change in your weight and your posture? I have found that I walk, sit and stand differently now. Perhaps a trip to a chiropractor is in order to evaluate your posture and train yourself to carry yourself in a different manner. Annette

Your spine re-aligns and your center of gravity changes a little. I know that I used to have this big large belly to lean on, now I don't. My back hurt bad. Yoga has done wonders for me!!!!

Another thought.... Where at is this pain? If it is below the right shoulder blade, call your surgeon's office..your gall bladder may be acting up. If it's low, it is probably just trying to get use to the decrease in weight pressure. Any advise is going to be dependant upon where the pain is, how severe is the pain, what is the frequency of the pain. I would recomend your considering how to explain each of these questions, then call your surgeon's office. If tests or an exam is needed, they'd be the best judge. Hope you get to feeling better!
