6 months of diet is over

today was my last day on my 6 months of diet for the ins company. I am going to run my paper work down to fort wayne tomorrow to my dr. so i pray that ins company dont take to long. I have lost 63 lbs on my 6 months of diet but my bmi is still 63.7. do you guys think my ins company will tell me no on the surgery? I have done everything they wanted me to do. please pray that the ins company will let me have this done I really need it. Brandy

Brandy, Great work on your weight loss. I lost weight too when my insurance denied me last year and I had to wait 3 months until submitting again. I was afraid they would see that I could loose the weight and wouldn't need to have surgery. I thought they would just say "look, you can loose the weight yourself you don't need to have this surgery". They don't look at it that way. Sounds like you will do great with the post surgery routine and follow the doctors orders. Good luck! Regina
