Indy Night Life info needed

OK, I need some help. I'm not real familar with the Indy nightlife and we have some relatives coming in from out of town for a visit this weekend. They have said they want to go out on the town in Indy and they are wanting to go to some nightclubs. They like 70's & 80's music but I don't have the slightest idea about where to go in Indy. Just don't want to be the oldest ones in the crowd either. Anyone have any ideas? We haven't been to the nightclub area in a very long time so we're needing some help on this one. Regina

If you go downtown on meridian there are like 5 or 6 clubs down there, you can park at the garage on meridian and south street $5.00 and you're in walking distance to all of them... Have a nice day plays a nice mixture, tiki bobs, blue, ugly monkey, and howl at the moon. Most of these are dance clubs... I go to have a nice day cafe I don't know how old you are but there are people that go in there in their late 30's... i'm 25 so i'm still kinda young... Hope that helps Jessyca

Thanks Jessyca, we were looking to go to have a nice day but i wasn't sure about it. That will be one we check out. Oh yes, we are 41 and 38 so hopefully we won't look too out of place. Regina

you might try ike and jonzies that is 70 and 80's music and if they ike jazz and blues at all the slippery noodle is awsome vicki

Hi Regina, I second the Ike and Jonesy's bar on Jackson Ave. http://www.ikeandjonesys.com/index.cfm They play mostly 70's and 80's and the crowd is usually older 30's and 40's. Tania
