Outrun the SUN walk/run June 2nd anyone wanna go?

So I took my grandmother to the dermatologist today for her skin cancer and they had these pamphlets that were for a race coming up on Saturday June 2nd.... it's called "Outrun the Sun" and it's to fight melanoma, a very very bad skin cancer... Registration is $20.00 a person if you go by yourself, or $18.00 a person if you have a group of 10 or more... I was wondering if anyone would be interested in in doing this with me.... there is a 1 mile walk (non competitive), 5k run or walk (non competitive) or a 5 mile run (competitive) that you can do... I personally would like to do the 5k walk (3.1 miles) because it gives me something to work towards... Let me know if you want to do it. We have to be registered by May 29th... Jessyca
