Janet - I live in Decatur, just south of Fort Wayne. My surgery was Dec. 20 in Indy at St. Vincent's with Dr. Margaret Inman. Sorry I don't know anything about the Ft. Wayne doctor's. I didn't mind the drive to Indy at all. My care and treatment there was well worth the drive. Do you attend support groups? Ft. Wayne has a meeting scheduled on the second Tuesday of the month at 6;30. We meet at Turnstone on Clinton I believe, at 6;30. Good luck with your upcoming surgery. Karen

hi janet when i had my rny dr sloan was just getting started...so i had my rny in indy at st vincent's. but 15 months later, i needed my gallbladder removed and dr. sloan did that surgery. he was very nice, and the surgery went wonderfully. deb -276

I had my surgery with Dr. Sloan in Feb2006. WONDERFUL experience and very talented surgeon. I will gladly pass on any information you need.
