Any ideas

I had it too because of pain and swelling in my calf but after my doopler they just said it was obesity.. That is the only dignoses for anyone over a size 6 it seems... One Dr told me it was a fatty tumor that would go away when I lost weight..
Hubby had it and it was cellulitis.. after his antibiotics his legs are still swollen and red.. I think he needs more.

I get it often, and thought at first it was blood clots too. But alas, it was cellulitis. I will have a tendency towards infections all my life they said. Comes from deep vein disease caused by being obese for so long, the redness is tissue breakdown they said,,the swelling is part of the vein thing. They told me to wear compression hose,,NOT THIGH HIGH,,that cuts off the circulation and can make it worse,,but pantyhose. When I do, it really helps. Was told to wear them during the day, or at least if I am gonna be sitting or standing for long periods of time. Walking is the best exercise, and propping them up when ya sit. No hot baths, only showers, because the ho****er makes the vessels openand swell more.
If it itches or is hot,,thats a sign of infection and ya need antibiotics, its nothing tomess with. My PCP didnt evenknow it was cellulitis,,I went to an infectious disease doc,,and then the emergencey room, where they prescribed strong antibiotics.
Not saying thats what you have, buty ou might mention it to the docs and they can check for it.
Good luck
