Hi again guys!
Ok, so I had my psych eval on Tuesday with the Psychologist at St. Vincent's in Carmel...that was just STRANGE to say the very least...that man gave me the total CREEPERS...but at least I got through it and it's done!
One more step completed in this journey...so now I wait! Man I hate waiting...just waiting for that magical letter to come in the mail saying I can start a new life!
Oh boy, I sure hope the wait isn't tooo long!
I have a question...My Dr. is Dr. Huse...anyone here have him as their surgeon and if so how long was the wait for your surgery date?
Or I suppose anyone here can answer that similar question...I'm guessing like a 3 wk wait for surgery once I get approval...am I WAAAAY off?
thanks! sorry i missed the clothing exchange, i would have liked to met some people, maybe next time...my son was in a play that day
hugs!
Jen

Jennifer,
I also have Dr. Huse. It seems like I am getting nowhere fast or even at all at times. I started my process in November 2006. I went for the consultation then waited, I did not realize that I needed my psych eval. Had that in January so I waited. Then I had added an insurance policy that I thought would only pick up doctor co-pays but alas it was now considered my primary even though they would only pay $3000 a year. Then the other insurance said I needed a cardiac clearance so I scheduled the appointment and then the snow storm of 2007 hit and that had to be rescheduled and then the doctor was not comfortable with some of the indications so had to have another cardiac test. All of this done by the first of March. Then the good news got verbal approval from the now 2nd insurance but the now primary wanted more information. Just yesterday, May 4 got a denial from the now primary that only has about $2000 left to dish out. So hopefully next week I can get the written approval from the 2nd insurance that has verbally agreed so that I can now get a surgery date. Good luck, it has been an experience and I hope yours goes easier than mine has. Nicole at Dr. Huse office can help you with whatever you need.
