Donations & Clothing Exchange etc..

Ok everyone- I was overwhelmed with the responses about the clothing exchange! So please accept this 1 reply, cause I am not wanting to type ALL day today- wanna go to the park!!! LOL Alot of people have mentioned a donation for the teens- I LOVE THAT-If anyone else is interested in doing this for this time please send me a pm and I will send you my address- the reason I am asking for this, is , I did have 2 people give me donations and my cousin did not want to take them, it was their committment for the month- that being said I have purchased a THANK YOU card and will be SENDING it to the church directly to the pastor in care of the YOUTH, I will wait until Friday morning to mail this out, that way people have a chance to get with me and I can have time to still get them their card before the next church service! Even if it is just a couple of dollars per person that was there- that would be great! I do appreciate this, the kids were awesome( Although 8 of them were my family, they did me proud)! They are a great group and enjoyed themselves! As far as having them thereall the time I will talk with them and get back with everyone! I do agree too about having it all downstairs- that being said- I chose to have it UPSTAIRS because I thought that Dan was still in his motor scooter and would not have access to the basement! He was able to not be in the scooter and the upstairs was getting crowded so we moved the food downstairs! But I do agree that the basement is better- but to accomodate anyone that may not be able to use the stairs, I would make those adjustments as needed- hope everyone understands- I am not saying it was DAN'S fault by any means- I just wanted him to be thought of and able to visit and participate as well! I enjoy doing the exchanges and will keep reading the threads and we will come up with something here shortly! My family is going to start attending this same church and I look forward to my son being a part of this wonderful group of teens that they have in place already! I will also be a part of the church's fundraising so we all may be able to help in some aspect of that as well, if you would care to! Thanks for the insight!
