Super 70 & The Clothing Exchange
There's been some questions as to what ramps are open/closed...
Shadeland:
I-70 East to Shadeland: Open
I-70 West to Shadeland: Closed
Shadeland to I-70 East or West: Closed
Emerson:
Closed completely
Rural/Keystone:
I-70 East to Rural/Keystone: Open
I-70 West to Rural/Keystone: Closed
Rural/Keystone to I-70 East or West: Closed
Now...as an eastsider who avoids this mess as much as I can, how would I recommend you to get here????
I-70 East-->Rural/Keystone exit--> Turn right at end of ramp. Turn left at 10th Street. Church is on corner of 10th & Ritter (Which is after Emerson but before Shadeland).
I-70 West-->Post Street exit--> Turn south (I believe that would be left) at end of ramp onto Post. Turn right onto 10th Street. Church is on corner of 10th & Ritter (After Shadeland).
And to get back home???
To get to I-70 West/I-65 North:
Take 10th street west to Emerson-->Turn left. At 1st stop light is Michigan (a 1 way street heading West...to the right). Turn right.
For those going to I-65 N: Continue on Michigan and you will see exit signs to the right before you get to downtown.
For those going to I-70 W: After State Street, you will pass Arsenal Tech High School. It will be on your right. There is a stop light at it's entrance. At the next street, turn LEFT. It's a 1-way. The next light will be New York (1-way going to the left/east). The 2nd stop sign after New York, turn right. This takes you right into the ramp to get onto I-70 West.
To get back to I-70 East:
Take 10th street back to Post. Turn left at Post. Ramps are open to get onto I-70.
Yes...those who are heading back to I-70 West/I-65 North could go the same way to Post to get onto I-70...but it would be out of the way for you travelers.
Anyone coming on 465 should not experience any problems at all as the Super 70 construction doesn't affect it at all. However, there is alot of orange cones up over here on the east side due to them trying to get the sound absorbing walls put into place.
If anyone has trouble getting here, you are welcome to give me a ring. It doesn't matter where you are, Bill would be able to help get you unlost. He is great at that! LOL! My cell is 317-446-8423.
See you all in a few hours!
