Well good morning all. Wasnt Saturday the most wonderful day ever. The sun was shinning, the birds singing, I spent the day with my kids and family out in the yard not doing much of anything. Today I am going to finish up a couple things I have to yet get done around the house. Namely laundry . I hate laundry. I packed a bag for the hospital. Just an outfit to wear home, a book my brush and hair tie you know the personal things one needs whane you are away from home. I had all my lasts on Saturday. Now I am getting mentaly ready for a lot of first's on Monday. Today I am going to trim my hair shave my legs and pits. A girlfriend is going ot brade my hair tight so I wont have to deal with it till I come home. Jim and I spent some time going over making sure I have everything I will need when I come home. He has even moved my reclyner to the bedroom cause I cant sleep if he isnt there. Go figure. And if I need help getting to go to the restroom in middle of the night. Well I am going ot sleep now and when the sun comes up I am going ot soak it up and relax enjoy spending time with jim, merlin (the dog), and the lawn chair with a glass or 5 of water and maybe a couple glasses of decafe tea. Have a blessed day 36 hours to go vicki

Good Morning Vicki and all the rest of your out therej, It was a beautiful Saturday. I got my 3 rose trees planted and 20 tuberoses. Then inside I started my poppys and sunflowers and a few other seeds... I still have some beautiful pink lillys that are coming from qvc to plant. I have 6 mini roses yet to re-pot. Azaleas to dig up and move... Lots of yard work still to do. I got the front yard flower beds all cleaned out yesterday but Im waiting on Andy to help me with the back yard. I had three huge wow moments this this past week. Last Sunday I went and got a pedicure with Mendi and I didnt even recognize the legs up on the stand. I couldnt believe they were mine. I was even able to bend and twist in all the positions they want u in. Then last night I wore a beautiful black dress I got from Sam last Oct at the clothing exchange. I was able to sit like a lady...cross my legs in both directions. Plus, when security came around to check on us...he just said WOW!!! and went to leave. Then he came back... said girl if I didnt know better I wouldnt have thought I knew u. He asked when I was gonna stop droppin this wt. becouse he thought I looked great just where I am. He couldnt believe it when I told him I still was over 200 lbs and wanted to lose about 50 more lbs. He just kept saying that I looked great....then he left still just saying WOW. He wasnt flirting either...he was just being nice. It wasnt offensive at all....usually I cant stand attention from men. Now more than ever. Now mind you...Im still at 230 lbs...so I have a ways to go...but it sure was a good week for the little wow moments. The rest of the week sucked. Many of you know my job is coming to an end soon and Im going to be looking for a new one.... My car was also taken in to have work on it and while it was at the garage was vandalized...so thats costing me a small fortune. It was just a rollercoaster of a week. Good moments and bad. Im looking forward to another beautiful day today. I hope it beautiful thru till Wed at least. Andy and I are both of Mon and Tue nights and we have alot of work to get done. Vicki, have a great day and have Jim take really good care of you...tell him nurses order.....lol. I look forward to u being a loser when I see u next. Huggs and I'll see u soon

I'm going to be sending uber positive thoughts your way Vicki... God speed on your recovery... Take care of you!!! I believe my support group meeting is this wednesday... I will call up there and see if you are still there and if so I will come up and see you dear... Yesterday was a beautiful day... My friend came over with her mom and baby which was great, one I got to see the baby, and two I got to practice my spanish which is getting pretty rusty... Then some friends of ours came over for a cookout with their little girl and they ended up taking the lab that we had found, they're going to give him a trial run until Tuesday and then if he doesn't work we're going to have the Lab rescue get him... Friday night I went out to the club with my friends and had a WONDERFUL TIME!!! I couldn't dance, my incision isn't healed up enough yet especially since i just busted it open. And of course I can't drink so I was the DD for my friend and I sat and watched everyone. It was a really good time... It was nice to get out of the house and start doing some of the things that I enjoy so much. Today I really want to sit out in the sun with a book and relax, and of course take my walk... It's so amazing how much better I feel after only 3.5 weeks of this. I already feel like a different person... I'm even happier. I haven't taken my Effexor (anti-depressant/anxiety meds) since my surgery and I haven't had one issue. Well I hope everyone has a great day today... Enjoy the sunshine and beautiful weather... God Bless you all! Jessyca
