Anybody having diarrhea when you first get home?

Alice,
If you are still using the powdered milk with it you are still getting lactose. It is also in the powdered milk. You may be lactose intolerant. I am too. I just use the lactaid to mix the whey protein powder in. That way I am not getting any lactose. I get the protein powder at GNC. Nutritionists told me I should use the whey protein...not sure why....but it works for me.

Same here Alice, I had diarrhea and when I switched to Lactaid I was fine... you might also try sugar free jam's from wal mart, I'm particularly found of the strawberry to give it some flavor... and it may just take a while to get everything going the way it should... Just don't let the diarrhea go on too long you'll get dehydrated.

Hi,
I had diarrea for 3 weeks after surgery,
till I found I have lactose intolerance. If it continues, call your Dr. Mine suggested using ImodiumAD and starting Lactaid milk. I now use Vanilla Continental 8 Soymilk, which tastes the best when cold. Good luck, and I hope you are feeling better soon!!
((hugs))
Ellen
