Who Loves Popcorn?

I can't seem to get enough of it!!! I love the stuff and eat it all the time. I think about it in the shower and in the car! I stop and make it all the time. I can tell you all the places you can get it and whose is the best!!! My kids think I am a nut and who can blame them? My very favorite popcorn comes from the worst place ever! Who wants to know????? The Indy Greyhound bus station! LOL It is the very best of all around! I think I may be loosing it big time but just wanted you all to know!!! Everyone sleep well, Carmen

i haven't tried popcorn yet i am only 3 months out. but dont think i dont want to try it i love popcorn too. i'm scared to try it right now. i wonder if it is ok to eat it yet.

I too was scared and didn't try it until month four! That was when the dietitian said it would be o****il then I spent my time drinking pickle juice, eating sourkrought, and salty broths. I have such a huge salt tooth! (Not to mention my carb addiction) Happy popping, Carmen

I love popcorn, too! Tho, I'd never thought of shopping for it at the bus station. I usually split a bag of the fat free stuff with hubby. If I'm feeling especially naughty, I might even sprinkle a little cheese on my part!

I love it now I am afraid that I wont later so I have stopped eating it so I will have forgotten the taste then maybe it will be new to me when I can try it again vicki

I LOVE popcorn too! I was arfraid I was going to have to give it up for live and I was so bummed. But that is not the case! Yahoo! Just movie popcorn as it is loaded with fat from the butter. Ok I can deal with that!

Oh Carmen, I didn't know anyone else loved it as much as I do! My Hubby got a tub full at Christmas- and HID IT FROM ME-you should have seen my nose sniffing-~~ I wonder why He'd hide it-HA HA!!??!! I'm about it! I usually keep the Orval Reddenbocker's light on hand if I need a "crunchy" snack. Love those small bags that SAMS sells, they are just perfect for one. Isn't it amazing how our "tastes" change after surgery? I didn't have popcorn till I was 8 mo. out- my colon didn't like it, but now- yum!! I have to run to my seat when we go to the movies, or I'd be in line for the biggest tub with tons of butter- and salt- my old favorites! (((hugs))) Ellen

Carmen funny that you should bring that up. I too can't seem to get enough of the stuff. I eat it all of the time as well. I guess that is probably better than sitting and eating junk food hugh..lol Anyways I am also addicted to Planters mixed nuts. I can't seem to get enough of those either and before surgery you would never have seen me eating them. Strange... Hmmmm Anyways have a good night everyone. Dawn R
