Surgery took longer because my liver had grown to my stomach from my previous bariatric surgery. Had and allergic reaction to the antibiotic that wasn't discovered until my tube was out. Had difficulty breathing and ended up in ICU. Didn't have to be put on the resperator though. I did have to stay there the whole time due to no beds on the barri unit. That is a bummer because you don't get your full liq started on time, nor do they make sure you walk. I can recall three great nurses on that unit, Stephanie, Vicki and Tina. Other than that it was ok. Would have liked the support from the barri unit. Oh well, I am home and doing fine. Hugz, Alice

Yeah, glad you're back Alice! That's a bummer that you had to stay in ICU the whole time, but it sounds like you're doing well, so that's good. Linda Vicory

Glad to hear that you are home and doing good. It had to be a bummer to be on the ICU unit.

Hi Peggy, thanks. The ICU wasn't what I wanted. But I am home now and everything seems to be working. Hugz, Alice
