Happy Rebirth to me!

Well today is my one year anniversary and I just couldn't be happier about it!!!! I have had the most amazing year ever!!! This has been the single greatest thing in my whole life. (I hope my kids and husband don't see this!) I just have never been so proud of me! I know so many people think that it is easy but it is so not. I have worked so hard and feel so good. I would do this again in a second! Changes... Lost 199 lbs. Can run for 90 minuets everyday! Went from a size 32 to a 4. Have actual muscles on my body! Like what I see in the mirror. Feel proud to be me. Can walk in a room and not worry about what chair I can sit in and if at least one other person is my size. Have tried wearing makeup! Never worry about what the waitress is thinking when I order my food. I am never ashamed to look people in the eye! Can play with my children. Feel good about helping at the school. Never worry about breaking another toilet seat. I have normal blood pressure! I never snore or wake people up with my sleep apnea! I never worry about having another heart attack. Went from taking too many meds to list, to only taking one a day! Like having sex with the lights on!!!! In general I am a far happier person and almost never yell at my kids or husband!! So many more but don't want to bore ya all!! This site has meant so much to me and all the wonderful friends I have made just bring me to tears! You all rock!!! I am so proud of you all, and you each one of you have encouraged me so much more than you can ever know! Thanks for being here and sharing with me everyday! What will I do without you all!! (Big tears) I have learned so much about me and who I am and can be, this last year! I have learned that the cards you are dealt are always changeable and God is a flexible man! He is always open minded and never turns his back on you. Ask and ye shall receive! My whole life is different and I am so blessed! Thank You GOD!!! You rock! Amen!!! Blessings, Carmen

Carmen, You've done such a superb job this past year and sharing this day with you has developed into a wonderful friendship. You are looking so good and I'm real happy for you. Carmen one could only hope to acheive what you have in the past year. We havent got to spend a lot of time with each other but in the little time we have I feel like a friend . You inspire(sp) me and like everyone has said we are only a post away or a phone call or email. I bow my head and pray that your trip be a safe one, or new home be a blessed one and your new self wont ever forget the ones back home in indiana. Carmen, Happy Re Birthday dear!!! You're my hero!!! I want to be like you when I grow up!! Seriously though, that's awesome... the running especially...
