It's Monday, again!

Hello, how are you all doing? I worked until 12:30am last night. When I got home the kids were still up. Argh! Gramma's not so good at getting them to bed. We ended up all going to sleep together in my bed. That was kind of nice. They're cuddly. Now I was up at 6am, ready to get on with today. I am dragging though. I will be glad when I can afford to quit having a second job, unfortunately that doesn't seem to be anytime soon. Not if I want to be able to do the things I want to do, too, like lessons for me and the kids and such. Oh well, it's not that bad. I'll stop complaining now , I know I'm lucky to have work. Especially that I like. So does anyone have any good plans for today? Linda Vicory

ugh mondays work work work i have a lot to do this week to get things wraped up before i go out on leave for my surgery. i just hope the week does not drag along i want it to fly , lol i never thought i would ever say i want to be a loser but i do i really do want to be a loser... vicki

Hello Indiana! We had a belated Easter dinner at my Mom's yesterday. Of course the kids were all sugared up When I got home last evening my Bengal had given birth to 4 brown-spotted babies!! Mamma and kits were doing fine. So, we have new babies in the house. My kids don't even know they are there yet. Mamma is pretty protective at first, so I probably won't let them see the babies until later this week. I'll post a picture later this week. Hopefully I will have something worth showing in the Fall. There is a huge Bengal show the last weekend in September, so basically if I dont' find something worthy soon, they won't be old enough to show in September. I got my first fill in the Lap-Band today. I was pretty nervous. It wasn't too bad. So, now I'm on full liquids today and tomorrow. I'm eating mashed potatoes with some melted cheese mixed in for lunch, but they aren't going down so well. I may have to go get some milk or something else. Talk to you all soon, Tania

Today hubby and I are just spending some time together with Gwyn for some family time since he's off today. I love family days. They are my new favorite thing! Carmen, thanks for coming up Saturday and speniding some time with Gwyn & I. I REALLY wanted to make sure you at least got to see her before you left. As much as I love spending my days with Gwyn, It was nice to have some adult conversation! And thanks for sharing your PS info, I cant wait to get this stuff cut off! Also, ill be posting a couple new baby pics today, if i can manage it one handed anyways.

Well I went to work today and got laid off... not a bad thing I"m kinda happy about it, it gives me time to concentrate on me and do what I need to do... They laid off my whole department, I'm susre that they will shut down the office soon... And it will be nice to sit at the pool every day this summer... I probably won't start looking for a job until I lose some serious amount of weight because a little leg and cleavage never hurt anyone's pay offer... How it is ya know... My husband decided NOT to take the job in Fort Wayne so now he doesn't have a job either and we are staying in INdy, I'm happy and upset about it but mostly happy because I'm comfortable here and there's soo many changes already with my new lifestyle at least I get to keep some of my comfort stuff... Linda I would love to go horseback riding, I've never been but I love animals and I think it would be spectacular maybe if I lose enough weight during the summer I"ll go riding at Brown County, if I think i won't break their back lol Tania I want to see the babies!! I love kittens... they're so cute... Until they get full grown like my phat cat... We found a black lab in our backyard this morning. We think it's our neighbors and they left the house and it's empty, i think that they left the dog... He's really cute and very well mannered... we took him to the vet to get scanned for a chip and no chip... So if no one claims him today or tomorrow my best friend is going to take him... We have him chained up in the front yard to our tree so if the owner drives by they can see him.... hopefully the owner will see him and come get him... Plus I don't want him to get hit by a car running around the addition so we chained him up out there, he has a collar on and everything just no tags or address.. Have a great day everyone Jessyca

Hey everyone! Nothing much going on for me today... just Monday. I had my preop class last week, and I have my preop testing next Monday on the 23rd, so this week is nothing specific going on. I did get the big sample package from www.bariatriceating.com and I had fun looking at all the stuff. I just can't decide if I should start trying them out now, or if I should wait till after surgery since everyone says my taste will change. Oh, and I lost my mind a couple of weeks ago and signed up for the Dino 5K in Avon this coming Saturday, so I guess that is going on this week. I've never done a 5K in my life, I don't think, although once upon a time I used to run track. I'm only walking this one. I fully expect to be the last place person. My goals are to finish, and then if possible to finish in the time they allow, which I believe is 2 hours?? Might be 3 though, not sure. Everyone wish me luck. I just hope I don't pass out and die in the middle of it. Talk to everyone later! Kim
