JENNIE BIGGS HOPES TO GO HOME NEXT WEEK
Here is the latest email I received from Tom Biggs. Looks like good news. I know they are both praying that they can go back home to Converse. Keep her and Tom in your prayers.
Pam and others who have appointments at Carmel this Friday please check room 265 on the Bariatic Wing, she should still be there.
Ann and I dropped a gift bag from all us here on the board Tuesday. I have been holding the gift bag since her surgery date last May and hopefully she will be able to use the goodies soon.

Dear friends and family,
Good evening to all of you from St. Vincent Carmel hospital once again.
The surgeon thinks Jennie can get along at this point as well at home as
she is in the hospital; therefore, we are beginning to arrange things once
again with the hospitals Discharge Planner, in hopes of bringing my dear
Jennie home sometime next week. The wound vac is still working well, and
we were told that a portable version is available for us to take home. She
continues to have pain in her left leg and hip, but it is less severe than
before she had the epidural injection. We hope and pray that the
medication she receives through her G-tube will be enough to alleviate the
pain and nausea when we get her home. In the hospital, she can get IV
medications when needed, but when she gets home this will not be possible.
Jennie's visitors since the last update have been Juanita Maple, Maxwell
and Misty Bolinger, Dan & Ann Packard, and Kyle Strauser.
The closer she gets to May 16th, the first anniversary of her original
surgery, the harder it is for my dear Jennie. Recently she has been
getting discouraged very easily. When you go to the Lord in prayer, please
join me as I lift up my dear Jennie to our Lord and Savior. I will
continue to ask the Lord to hold her gently in His hands and surround her
with His Holy Spirit, and to give her healing, peace, and perseverance.
Thank you all and God bless you,
Tom
Listen to my words, O Lord, give heed to my sighing and groaning. Hear the
sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to You do I pray.
In the morning You hear my voice, O Lord; in the morning I prepare [a
prayer, a sacrifice] for You and watch and wait [for You to speak to my
heart]. --Psalms 5:1-3
