More OH Campout info

Looks like the most popular dates will be 8/10&11 or 8/24&25. Let's wait to see how many more reply before we settle on a date. We are about 3hrs north of Indy for those who asked. 28miles East of South Bend, 1hr 40min West of Ft Wayne. On state Rd 13, 4mi north of Middlebury (US 20) Kabins for my Oh group will be $39 p/night ($10 less then normal rate) for the 1rm Kabin (sleeps 4) and $49 p/night for the 2rm Kabin (sleeps 6) so if any one wants to share kabins that's OK. The Kabins have no restrooms inside them but are w/in walking distance from RR (w/in 400ft) Must bring your own bedding for the kabins. Full Hookup (pull thru) will be $29 p/night ($3 more for 50amp) Water/Electric (pull thru) $28 p/night Water/Electric tent $22 p/night Prices include 2 adults and as many as 4 childres, any additional adults or children are $3 p/person p/night Hope this helps those who asked, Hope

Hey Hope, We might try to make this. We usually tent camp or backpack, but it's been forever!! We were just saying how we need to do more camping this year. Any dates are fine for us as long as it's a weekend. Kim

Ok, don't laugh too hard here, but do the kabins have electric, running water, maybe an air conditioner??? So, you've guessed I want to come, but not a big camping girl. Any nearby hotels, LOL. Tania

LOL, Kabins have electric, and A/C, but no water. We hope to have lodges by then, and they do have kitchen and bath, no idea on price for those yet. Essenhaus has and Inn just 4 miles away. Hope

Keep me informed too, we have stayed at the Amish Log Cabin campgrounds in Shipshewana and it was a lot of fun, have threatened to stay at the ones in Middlebury but haven't yet. We visit that area at least once a month and love to stay at the Eseenhaus. Brenda

Hope, It looks like the weekend of 8-10/11 would be best for us. We have a family get together the other weekend. We would need full hookup and have 30amp. I am so looking forward to coming up and sharing time with everyone. (((hugs))) Ellen
