back from hospital

Dr Gupta did my scope and it is a bleeding ulcer, the nurse was going over the pictures with me and said there was alot of blood in the stomach so it took several tries to get a good look at the actual ulcer. I was also anemic. so they gave me a bag of iv fluids and then another iv they called a banana bag it was yellow colored liquids. and gave me 2 perscriptions to start taking so hopefully this will start healing soo and I can get back on course. tomorrow I have to go back to see DR diaz for my 6 week checkup why they cant schedule stuff on the same day and save a long trip lol. i think he will be happy though when they weighed me today I was down 65 pounds, so maybe he will let me add some fruits to my diet now. take care everyone

thank you Amanda I was actually hoping for about 10 more pounds to be gone by now but my surgeon was happy and said once we heal thenulcer and I can start getting some protein the weight loss will do better

thank you sherry, I went and saw dr diaz today he wants to see me back in 3 weeks and he sent directions so my family doctor can do the vitamin ivs a few times a week to help with the healing. the nut told me to do dole juice bars, pedialyte, and crackers until the medicine starts to kick in and heal the ulcer. so im taking it easy for a few days and just concentrating on keeping in enough fluids until it begins to heal how is you husband doing I hadnt heard any thing latley I hope he is doing ok kathy
