How did the girls day out go??

Havent seen a report on Saturday's outing. I was out of town and have been checking the boards daily to see whats going on. I thought the outing sounded like a lot of fun, but now I am curious about your day.... Linda

Beats me I didnt get to go.. Hubby has issues about me being gone to much since I have a full time job and he is home 24/7.. Linda

i had fun we had lunch and went to a pottery place and made something just time to be with friends and do something fun , something we had not done before . a chance to visit and just get out with out having to report to anyone . vicki

There have been several posts most were sat and sun about how much fun ppl had. We didnt make a specific thread about it, however we all had a really good time. Several posted that they had a blast. Guess I should have made a thread. There were a good mix off ppl there. Two women were newly post op...in the last month...one RNY and the other PS. There were two women were havent had surgery yet, there was a lapband girl who was just a few months out and two of us that were over 8 months out from our RNY's. Hopefully more can make it next time. Im looking forward to seeing everyone at the clothing exchange. We all had a good time talking and sharing. Even the pottery was alot of fun. Most of us had never done it before and I know mine looked like it was done by a kindergartner.. but hopefully with practice mine will get better. I hope we do it again. I spent the evening today with Carmen and Tania stopped by for a few minutes. It was really good seeing them both again. Carmen as usual was a great hostess. Feeding us cheese/pumkin seed crackers and soy nuts. I think Mendi and I are hooking up Sunday for some girl fun/shopping. Shes about ready for her big day. Wont be long now for Vicki either. Jesscya how are u feeling. Hope Sat didnt wear you out to much?
