Well, ty for all the prayers, Gwyn is home again with us. Her bilirubin count did rebound a bit today, but not at a level she had to stay in the hospital. Poor thing has bruises all over from all the IV attmepts and blood draws. I wish I could do it all for her, poor thing. They wll have a nurse come to our house wednesday for another lab draw to mkae sure the levels arent going up even more, and then we have another apt on Friday. Here's hoping the worst is behind us, because I sure don't think I can handle watching her go through all this again.

Oh Darrah, we're all behind you, hoping the worst is over. Being a mommy is hard work. I k now that feeling of wishing you could do it for your kids. But Gwyn will come through this, and lots of other things as she grows. (((((bearhugs))))) Linda Vicory

Darrah, I'm very glad she is back home. Try not to panic and take a deep breath. I know it's hard. My little boy was born 6 wks early and spent 2 weeks in NICU. The pregnancy had extremely rare and serious complications and it was a very stressful time. Being a Mom is stressful all the way around, but so many more wonderful times and memories. This time right now is very hard because you are a new Mom and she can't communicate with you. It will get better. There's a lot of us on the board with experience. You will make a LOT of trips to the pediatrician during the first couple of years ;) I think I took my first child in everytime there was a sniffle---i was a very nervous Mommy. I think they were ready to give me a reserved parking spot!!! Then the second one comes along and grows up before the pediatrician gets to see them at all ;), LOL. Take care, the doctors and God know what they are doing. Tania

Hi Such good news - now we'll just keep praying she gets better and stronger everyday. My little grandaughter was in NICU for 6 weeks, so I sure understand your "fears". Try to take care of yourself too, cause it sure is easy to forget to eat, rest, etc. when you are under such stress~'K?!! The best is yet to come for all of you(First words,tooth,crawl,step,etc.etc.) so keep your faith strong and know we all are here for you and praying for you all. LOVE YA, (((HUGS))) Ellen
