It's been a while, but things have been happening really fast - Surgery 4/25!!!

I haven't posted for a while, was denied by my insurance in October last year, and have been on Med WLP since then (lost 10#, but stalled despite 1500 Cals/Day, no white flour/sugars etc.). Finally got insurance approval on 3/29, but that provider is changing as of 5/1 so things are in high gear right now. I had alot of testing already done, so all I've got is the GB US (did that Friday) and the Endoscopy (this Friday's treat). I'm meeting with the Dietician on Thursday to start the 2 weeks of liquid diet before surgery, and meeting with the surgeon on the next Wednesday to sign the consents etc. I'm sure I'll be on the forums alot more now that things are "real" again. Thanks for all the great advice I've found in the posts I've read about others who've just gone through the surgery. I'm kinda nervous about surgery, but not as much as I'd thought. I'm sure the big butterflies will show up as I get closer to the date..... 17 days and counting now!

Congratulations on the ball starting to move! It will be here before you know it. I would recommend getting on the April 07 surgery board as well as this board. The monthly boards are incredibly helpful. Good luck! Belle
