Okay, I am going to try this route. I have been on since a few days after my surgery (3/22/07) and I can't figure this out. I love reading everybody's posts and I have even replied to a couple. I however, cannot figure out how to post so people can talk to me. I was told it was super important to get this support group thing going so I could have people around me to give me encouragement when I need it. So, hopefully this is the right way to do it. It may be a few weeks before I can make a face to face support group so I am keeping a blog of my own and I will keep adding to it as the weeks go on. Thanks in advance to anyone who hops on the support train with me.

Hi Kim, I'm just responding so you know we're out here! LOL. Looks like you figured out how to post OK. I'm having surgery with Dr. Jones too on 5/11. I keep going back & forth between anxious and excited. I've been hanging out on here quite a bit if you ever want to talk or anything. Kim (too)

Kim, Glad to see that you figured out the posting process. I don't know what part of the state you are in but I would encourage you to find a support group in your area. I have only been to one but I found it very helpful as I do this site. I am still pre-op. I am scheduled 2 hrs before Kimberly L on 5/11. There seem to be lots of newbies currently so many others are at your stage or close to it. Feel free to post your concerns or questions. Someone always has an answer. Peg

Kim, Welcome... I had my surgery on March 28th... and it's SO important to talk to people and make good friends that can support you through this time... I hope all is going well for me, I haven't had too many issues... mainly jsut trying to get all my liquid in is hard as hell... PM me (send me a private message) if you want and I will send you my actual email address and we can write back and forth that way. Jessyca

Hi Kim, Welcome to the site..and congrats on your recent surgery. Now that you know how to start a post, feel free to post whenever you have a question, concern, or anything else. We get together 'in person' several times during the year and post it on here when/where/and what-not. You are welcome to come and join in. Many good friendships have started here on this site. It's comforting to know that you have people who have been where you are in your journey and understand. You will find that we not only turn to each other for weight-loss/surgical issues, but in pretty much every aspect our our lives. As we all know, the rest of our life affects our weight-loss (or gain) a great deal so it is good to have people you can turn to for it as well. Sherri ps..If you post something and no one answers, don't take it personally. Sometimes someone may not get an answer because no one knows the answer. Usually we do good at saying 'I don't know' but there are times....
