New to this!

I was wondering if anyone has used the Preparing for Weight Loss Surgery Workbook. It was recommended by a Doctor. Its about $30 and I would like to know if it is worth the money. Thanks Jodi

Hi Jodi, I don't know anything about the workbook, but wanted to welcome you to OH and to the Indiana board. Not knowing about the workbook in particular, would add that any kind of preparation would be a step in the right direction. If you get it and go through it, I would like to encourage you to share your insight on the workbook and any learning you recieve from it with the board so that other new people (and some of us older ones too) could pick up a few lessons as well. Haven't heard of the workbook.. There is so much to do before WLS that just posting online and getting the info was work enough for me... PLease do share your insight! There may be something we miss on here.. Of course I dont know how since we all dothings so different around here. everyone has a way that worked for them.. That is why this boad is so great we get to do it our way and if that doesnt work we get to try it someone elses way. Linda Kay
