Your Prayers Appriciated

Little Gwyn is back in the hospital :-'( We took her for her first pediatrician appt today and they checked her jaundice level and its getting worse instead of better. Currently sh'es in phototherapy, but its looking like we might have to have her go to Riley and have a blood exchange done tomorrow or later tonight. Needless to say, I prolly wont make lunch tomorrow. I've been bawling my eyes out all day, and the drs sent me & hubby home to get a little rest. We wont know any more until in the morning.

Darrah, Im so sorry to hear about your baby girl and Im sure this wont help much but I have had several friends that had to take their babies back in for lights and they all ended up ok. So please dont get to stressed out Im sure she will be ok...after all she has all of us praying for her. Get some rest and Im sure in a few days this will all be a distant memory. We will miss you tomorrow but we understand

Sweetheart!! She will be fine!!Prayers are surrounding her and The Dr.s know what to do.. the BEST thing you can do for her is stay calm..she feels your tension and will heal so much faster if you have faith.. So sorry Darrah. I'm certain she will be just fine, they just need to do whatever they need to do to take care of her. Hope you got some of that needed rest. You're in my thoughts today. Kim

Oh Darrah, I know how it is to get into a rough start. My firstborn was five weeks early and spent three weeks in NICU. I will keep Gwyn in my prayers, and pray that she will be home feeling well, in your arms soon. Linda Vicory

Darrah, Your little Gwyn is in the best of hands. 4 of my grandbabies were jaundice, and those lights really do work quick.Just know that this is a common thing in newborns, and she'll be home before you know it! Try to get some rest, ( easier said than done, right?) know I am thinking of you all, and keeping you in my prayers. Love ya, Ellen

Darrah, I am sure you both are scared to death. Gwyn is in good hands and they will take good care of her at the hospital. Even if they decide to send her to Riley, they are the experts there. The 3 of you are in my prayers. I'll be looking for a good update real soon. Karen
