We got our house today

Mendi and others, I just got the call that our bid was approved. The house we are buying is empty so it shouldnt take long to get all the paperwork done since we were pre approved on our loan. We should be painting and cleaning and planting before u know it!!! Well I'll talk to u all later Ps. Congrats on the baby Darrah !!!

Yeah! that is great. Do you get posession at closing? We are in the middle of a fix up project right now. Our BR is being made over. New closet doors, wood floor in stead of carpet, some built in dressers,desk and bookcase. I'll have to post pic's when it is done. I was up till 11 last night painting. We are sleeping in our spare room which only has a double bed. (used to king) I'll be so glad when they get the floors and trim done so we can set out bed back up. I miss it and it has only been down two nights. He has the new floor about half down now and most of the cabinents are set. He should be done by Friday. It is fun and exciting to redecorate but exhausting. We had to take the BR window out today to get one of the new sections of dresser into the room. Good thing we have big windows.

That is fantastic news! Congratulations!!!!! You'll be closer to us now. We'll have to get together. So, you watch QVC too? I am addicted to it I just love their cooking and dining forum on-line too!

Thank you all for the Congrats and well wishes. We do get the house and closing. Looks like Lowes and Home Depo will be my new best friends for the next few months. Yes I am addicted to QVC and have been since it was CVN...ohh about 20 yrs now. My husband hates it. I spend more time with the the hosts and UPS man than I do with him he says....and yes my husband works for Fed ex but qvc doesnt ship with them...so Im assisting the enemy....LOL I'll be sure and post pics when we get the place. Should be about 2-4 weeks they are saying... We are putting in an all new kitchen and family room and both the bathrooms have to be re-done. They have old fixtures one master bathroom is in Pink...you girls would love it and the other is in mint green....the tubs are all the old glazed cast iron. The tub, toilet and sink are all the same color in each of the bathrooms. They are neat colors but I dont think they are in good shape...couldnt see to well with no electric in the place. We will know better when we get in it. Sat I'll still be free for our Girls day.. and looking very forward to it. I talked to Carmen today and shes planning on making it. Should be a good time. I'll talk to u all soon.

Congratulations on the new house. Just think you will now have all the engery to do all the planting and moving instead of having to have so many breaks in between, but don't get too worn out.....lol Bonnie
