Wednesday...

Good morning everyone! I'd been a little quiet on here this week. I got a migraine Saturday evening that just would not go away and stay away. I would take loratab and 4-10 hours later, it'd be right back! I went to the doctor on Monday and she gave me Maxalt. Same thing. I'd take it, a few hours later, the migraine was back! Yesterday, she gave me 2 injections of nubane and one injection of phenagrin (for nausea). This morning..no pain so far! Yeah! It has got to be the longest migraine I've had so far!! I'm glad I'm finally pain-free today since today, is Bill's eye surgery. We're fixing to take off to Dr. Price's now. He has to be there at 10:30 and I think surgery is scheduled for 12:30. Bill's 24 hr follow-up appt is in the morning at 7:45. After that, I'll be able to go into work and hopefully get some work done. I sure didn't get any done on Monday while I was there (got there at 6:30, pain arrived again around 7)..and yesterday, I didn't try to go in since the pain was here when I woke up. Ah well..if I can get some numbers crunched by Friday afternoon, I'll be happy. I hope you all have a terrific day. I'll let you know how Bill fares.... Sherri

Hi, Sherri & Bill, I am sending you my love, prayers and thoughts today for a successful surgery, and recovery. Glad to hear the shots are helping you Sherri!I know how awful those migranes are. If you need anything-CALL ME!K? What is everyone's plans for Easter? I really haven't planned anything other than going to church. My daughter & family is on a house hunting trip to Fla. & won't be home till Sun. The daughter from Minn. is coming down in May for our grandson's & Amy & family have plans, so just hubby & I. By the sounds of the weather- I'll be bundled up taking an afternoon nap! I hope everyone that is going to Mariah's get togehter Sat. has a great time- "Girls Time" is always the best!!!! We did a bridal shower at a Pottery Class shop, & it was a blast!! I hope everyone is enjoying all the signs of spring! I planted pansies yesturday ( an hr. before the storm****) and helped clean out some of the flower beds- plus brought a bouquet of daffodils and hyacinth in to enjoy. I love spring- even though in sneezing my head off. (((hugs))) Ellen

Sherri, I hope everything works out for Bill. You both are in my thoughts take care. Is everyone else trying to stay warm???? I know I am I had no idea how much insulation I had prior.....lol but you know what I wouldn't trade it for anything I can always put on a sweater to keep me warm. We are heading to Cleveland to see DeWaynes parents and kids for Easter which should be for a great time since they have not seen me since before Christmas they will be in for a shock. I had a WOW moment Monday at my parents house. I was able to run and I mean run to get the phone.....lol I know it may sound odd but how many of us could run prior to our surgery?? I know I couldn't and I even had to run and doge some things on the deck and I stayed on my feet too. I was so very proud of myself I had a smile from ear to ear. My mom asked what I was smiling about and I told her I was running and she gave me a big hug. Hope everyone has a great day!! Bonnie

lord be with you and bill. if you need anything call me . i will keep you in my prayers . i feel for you haveing to get a shot for the head. seems like ihave to go 3 times a year and when i go its an over night trip . mainly because i put it off till i am so ill with it that i cant walk or hold food down. . let us know how things go for bill. vicki

I hope everything goes well Sherri! Sorry about your monster migraine. That would be awful. Take care of yourself. For Easter, We will be filling the kids' baskets and having them find them in the morning, and then in the afternoon, I have to work. Bummer. Linda
