I HAVE A DATE!!

I got the call from Dr Evanson's office today scheduling my RNY. The date they wanted was May 30, but my family and I are leaving for the 10 day disney cruise on June 4th! That's a little too close! So we're going with June 27th. NOW, I just have to make sure it's okay with work!!!! I know its bad, but I really hope I can have it in june, and FORGET about work!!!! I work in a hospital....so its hard to take off time. Everyone pray that work lets me off, and I'll be in surgery June 27th!!!

Congratulations on your date. I am also from Terre Haute and I am having surgery with Dr. Gomez at Wishard on April 23rd. Do you know there is a support group in Terre Haute? They will meet on April 23rd at St Pats gym. If you send me your email, I can send you more information on the group. Deborah

Congrats on your date. I am in Terre Haute, too. Which hospital do you work at? I believe if you get FMLA papers, they will have to let you take the time off. That's what I did. Linda Vicory
