Jess- I had the same thing happen. I had never had any problems before, but immediately after... OUCH! I could not find any soy or egg-based protein drinks that I could tollerate the taste of. I used Profect and New Whey to make sure I was getting my protein, and used Lactaid before any dairy. The Lactaid worked great for me, you just have to remember to take it! There is also something called digestive advantage which you only take once daily. The good news is that it seems to reverse itself after a few weeks. I stopped the Lactaid after about 3 weeks, then went off the DA about 5 weeks, and no more dairy problems! Good luck finding something that works for you! Belle

I'm drinking Genisoy XL today (from the vitamin shoppe). I used 8oz Lactaid milk, 1 scoop of Genisoy, a container of pear baby food and a shot of Torino SF vanilla syrup. 33g of protein in a 10 oz drink. It's a little thick and gritty, but I'm like, if I can get all my protein in with 20 oz, I'll suck it up and deal with it. It's easier just to drink a little bit here and there throughout the day instead of the majority of my fluids being thick, filling protein shakes.
