Approved!!!

I just got a voice mail from Heather at Dr. Jones' office saying she had gotten an approval letter from my insurance! She said she would tentatively put me down for a surgery date of 5/11 and I should call her back and leave her a voice mail if that is an OK date. She said she would call me back with whatever other stuff I need to be doing. I feel so queasy now!! Kim

Congratulations, Kim. I hope everything goes smoothly for you from here on out. There are a lot of people with a lot of knowledge and experience on this site, so you've come to the right place. I'm only 5 weeks out, so can't offer too much advice at this point. Best, Donna

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am so happy for you. I am scheduled with Dr. Jones on 5/11th as well. That would be awesome to become Losers together. Sorry to see in your other post that the arm is not doing so good. Hopefully the x-rays will show good stability and it will begin to heal real soon. Again, congratulations on your approval!!

Thanks Peggy! We can have hall walking marathons together if this does in fact end up being my official date. I didn't get to talk to Heather again, so it isn't really all that confirmed yet. Stupid elbow is really bothering me tonight. I hope that doesn't interfere with me having surgery... I haven't mentined it to anyone there. I'm hoping it won't have anything to do with anything...
