YEAH !!!

After many phone calls from Nicole at Dr. Huse's office on Thursday she finally told me that I'M APPROVED. I could hardly believe what she was telling me. The day started out really "sucky" but after she told me the good news I told her she just made my day turn around and become really great!! I'm sure sometime next week she will let me know a date. I can hardly believe that after all those requests from the insurance company for "More Paperwork Again" that it is really true. I am so hopig after surgery I will start feeling better and live a healthy life. That is my whole goal for having WLS, it is not about what I weigh, I just want to feel better, be able to do things that people who have a normal weight can do, completing those tasks without struggling or even letting it pass me by.

Thats terrific Sue. I cant believe how many of u are getting approved right now....its like somethings in the air.....maybe SPRING !!! You will feel so much better. I dont even feel like the same person and its ony been 8 months now since Ive had mine. Im still considered obese....but if I didnt lose another lb I would be so happy. It feels great to be down all this wt in such a short time. I couldnt never be where I am without my surgery...I tried for to long to do it alone and couldnt. Again, Im so happy for you Mariah

Congratulations Sue on the news!! I am thrilled for you to finally have your approval. I really understand what you mean about wanting to feel better. My mobility and endurance has really gone down hill over the last five years. I too just want to be healthier and feel better. I must confess though that since approval and realizing this is really going to happen, I have begun to wonder what it may be like to be able to buy clothes at a regular store. Ah vanity, vanity. Even when I was 114 pounds at 16 I wore an XL tshirt because of my broad shoulders... You dont know what it means to me to walk into WALMART and buy an XL Tshirt.. It aint vanity girl it's reality!!! I can't wait for you to feel this feeling!!! I was "fat" for 25 years.. I ruined my kids growing up years by being the fat mom who couldnt do anything with them.. or I was the embarrasment... NOW they are proud to walk down the street with me.. and when my grey isnt showing... WOW!! Work the system go thru whatever you have to do to make this reality yours!! It is worth every pain, every pc of chocolate I have had to turn my back to, and every ounce of saggy skin I tuck into a girdle.. because I am looking good and feelin great!!! Linda

Congratulations Sue! You are in for many WOW's to come! I am so excited for you to begin your new journey and be able to enjoy your life once again! Once the weight starts coming off, all of these hurdles will be a memory of the past and will be well worth all the headaches that you have endured!
