Hi everyone, Just wanted to say hello - have been off the boards for a couple of days as DH's 94 year old grandfather passed away, so we were off in Bloomington for the past couple. Stupid broken elbow is giving me fits - going for new x-rays next week to be sure it is still stable. And I'm getting anxious about the insurance approval. I sent everything off on the 16th, and they confirmed they received it on the 19th. They said it generally takes 30 days. But I've heard on here other people with the federal version of BC/BS say about a week. Still haven't heard anything. Still have no idea what my out of pocket could end up being (maximum is $4000!!). I'd just like to know already if I'm even going to be able to do this or not, and if so if I'm going to be able to afford to do it or not. ;0) I'm just hoping I've got enough left in the FSA to cover my out of pocket. Sigh. Did you all get a phone call if your insurance approved you, or was it just a letter? Hope everyone has a good weekend. Kim

kim so sorry about your grandmother its rough i know. as far as insurance call them its been 10 days since they got it. and if they say nothing yet then call them tomorrow and so on. when you call ask for the pre d department and if they dont help ask to speak to a nurse she will help you ... vicki
