does anybody belong to a healthclub?

I'm looking into health clubs to join. I've been looking at Curves and YMCA...does anyone belong to either of these and if so do you like the facilities? Judy

I belong to the Y in Terre Haute. I like using them. Even just going for the treadmills. I have one at home, but when I'm there, it's so much easier not to make excuses to not do it. Linda Vicory

I used to belong to Curves.. if it is a long established one it will have lots of equipment. the newer ones of course have less. I had to quit because I got my knee replaced and I just am not reay for the hydrolics. great rresistance and very possible to loose pounds and inches!! YWCA is to far away.. just wish a Mooresville club would open up with a pool!! i would be there daily.. I will be going this summer to the Mooresville pool for the 1/2 price after 5 swim times Linda

I belong to Curves and I love it. I just had my surgery five weeks ago, so I am currently on Medical Leave from Curves, but will go back as soon as I am released to do so by the doctor. I like it because there is one really close to my house (5 minutes away). I can get there, work out for 30 minutes, and get home all in about 40 minutes. Everyone at the Curves I go to is so nice, helpful, and supportive. Donna
