YEAH!!!!

I got the great news today that after nine months and one appeal I was approved. I'm SO beyond excited. My husband was approved last month so he'll be operated on one month before me. He goes to the surgeon next week and is also very excited. We're ready to get our lives together going and healthy. I've put myself last for far too many years and am now paying the price for it. It's a lesson well learned and one that will never happen again! I'm ready, ready, ready for the operation! I've read so many of your postings and you have all been very helpful in teaching me about the emotional as well as physical part of the whole thing. I can't thank all of you enough. You all seem so supportive of each other. Thanks again!!

Congratulations!!!! I'm still waiting to here about my appeal, they sent the appeal back to the surgeon's office it seems that it needed to be rewritten by the Dr? God Bless Cheryl

We ARE supportitive of eachother!! we NEED each other!!! It helps to vent the protien drink phaze.. it helps to vent the soft food stage.. it helps to vent the dry meat pain phase and it Helps to have someone to brag to when you get into those clothes you always wished you could wear!!! Congratulations Stacy!!! My husband and I had our surgeries 11 days apart. It made it much easier for us to both be on the same type of food for much of the time. I wish you both great success. Brenda

Congratulations! Its worth the wait and work, trust me!! You both can share those wow moments,,and they come often. Its a thrilling ride you are embarking on!! Great to see someone else who grew up in Hammond !! I did too,,in the fifties!! Havent been back for about 15 years though. It probably looks all different now. Blessings Betsy
