TGIF!!!
if she is not here come on to the goodwill...cos moving and doing is what is gonna get to have her....and it is all a good thing too....The day before my daughter was born my mom took me to the greenwood mall...I was worn out and my mom i know went into each and every store that was there at the time.. my water broke about noon and she was born at 4 pm and never felt a thing....no labor pains at all...
Now THAT'S the kind of labor I want!
I'm dialated and effacing jsut fine, just that the contraction that I am having are not intense enough or close enough together. My OB told me as long as I was dialated, she'd induce me whenever I wanted, and I have an appt Monday, so if there's no baby by monday, she'd best be sending me right across the hall to labor and delivery!
Hi Everyone,
Gosh Darrah, it won't be long now!! Have you decided on her name yet??? I hope she decides to get here easily and without paining her "Mommy" too much!
What hospital will you be at? Of course they hardly keep you anymore. "In my day" they kept you 4 days, and boy was I glad- somebody helped me and I got some rest!
Keep us posted and don't push yourself too much- my daughter came so fast the Dr. didn't make it to the delivery!OUCH!!!
Going to help out at the Caring Center today then go to daughters again. We are getting alot done (we meaning they are, I having a ball keeping the grandkids busy and out of everyone's hair!)
They are active and busy 7 & 4 yr. olds. and keep me going! It sure is going to be hard when they move in June to Fla. but Hubby & I are already planning camping trips.
Have a great weekend!!!
(((hugs)))

We'll be at IU. For a regualr vaginal delivery, they keep you two days, three for a c section. ASsuming both of those have no complications of course. We're getting close on hammering a name out. Besides, what else would we have to talk about while i m held prisoner to a bed for hours just waiting for my cervix to keep popping open further?
WALK!! I kid you not.. the best way to kick start the contractions.. When my water broke and I had no contractions they made me walk... 12 hours later of course they did a c section... but the walk is what they said should have done it.. he was just to far up and breach.. so kinda glad i didnt have to have him naturally..
Linda

remember when you first came out of surgery and everyone said walk walk...welllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
WALK WALK . it will help the contractions speed up . the day i had my olderst daughter i made my hubby at the time get the lawn mower out so i could do something usefull while walking but it was the end of may . have your hubby take you to the mall to walk or as nice as it is if it stops raining walk around the block.
