Update: Back to basics

As I posted earlier in the week I went back to protien shakes. Now that is an appetite suppressant for you! We have had donuts and cake on the table all week at work. I have stayed away from it altogether! If I sip on a protien shake I have no desire for anything else! I knew those nasty shakes were good for something!

MY Problem is lack of movement... I started walking around the govenment center the day before yesterday when it was so pretty and walk in the tunnel on my lunch 1/2 hour!! I will be walking as much as possible.. Linda

Way to go Jana! I love my protien shakes( 8oz. vanilla low fat soymilk, 4 ice cubes, 1/2 frozen banana, & 1 scoop Body Fortress Protien Shake mix blended well) and also Sherri gave me a taste of the Achieve Protien Drink- yum!! Gotta get some of those!!! I think the weather breaking has been a big benifit- gotta love walking in the sunshine-right?! YEAH!!!!!! Keep on keeping on girl!! You can do it!!! (((hugs))) Ellen

Jana What kind of protein shakes do you do? I get some good tasting protein powder from GNC and I have a protein smoothie every morning. The Banana Creme or the orange creme is my favorite, but the strawberry and I just bought some mix berry and these we good also. I put 2 scoop of the protein powder, a small banana, and what other fruit I want to add. I also mesh up my multivitiams andput them in there. I have trouble chewing those things up. Dan from Kokomo posted what is called the Smoothie Bible, I think I still have them, let me know if you would be interested in these receipes. Have a wonderful weekend.

I'm right there w/ you Jana! I not doing solely protein shakes but I've went back to basics on focusing solely on protein and eliminating the carbs. I'm at a 4 month plateau and I've got 141 days to my "wedding" so I need to get busy! Jaimee

I'm not solely on the shakes either. I am just happy that I haved stopped eating the junk. I know we can both stick with this. I don't have anything exciting like a wedding coming up. Congrats on yours!
