New Member--Kelly---friend of mine. Can everyone show her what a great group we are?

Hello, A friend of mine from work just joined the group. Kelly has really been struggling ever since her surgery last fall and could use some support. Can you guys all show her what a great group we are and welcome her in? I'm sure you would have anyway, lol. Kelly--glad you finally made it here. These guys and galls are terrific and always there to lend a hand even if it is only support needed. Sherri has been crowned the 'sugar-free queen' and she has all kinds of recipes on her profile--she works at Lilly too at LTC. Sam and Dawn have some good recipes too!! I'm making that white chili tonight. I'm really torn between the crab casserole and the chili, but I went to Boston Market last night and I have a TON of left-over chicken. Sherri made a fantastic casserole last Saturday night with crab and cream cheese. It was crazy good!! We also have quarterly clothing exchanges where you can go find some smaller clothes while you are losing and donate some of your larger ones to folks just getting started. Sorry you missed the hot tub party last Saturday night, but there will be more get togethers soon. Welcome, and I'll bring in some of Carmen's Turkey pepperoni chips tomorrow for you to try. If you like them, they are low-fat and loaded with protein. Tania

Welcome Kelly, Hope she sees this! Kelly you are more than welcome to join in and ask questions or come and join us on our get togethers! We have all been there, going there, and wanting to be there1 We all need support, and we have just the group to help with that! I wish you the best on your journey1 I know at times that there can be bumps, but everyones journey is their own and sometimes it isn't as smooth as we want! Kelly, Welcome to the group... I am 2 years out and wont leave because I seem to have become "normal" and need all the help I can get KEEPING THE WEIGHT OFF!! The surgery saved my life now I have to daily work to allow the tool to continue to work for me.. This bunch of wonderful people will continue to encourage, enlighten and lift you up when you need it most and I know a few who will give a cyber kick in the butt when needed too!! Linda
