SUNDAY UPDATE ON JENNIE BIGGS
Here is an email I got from Tom Biggs this afternoon on what is going on with Jennie. If you have time please drop her a note or a card to let her know we are all out here praying and pulling for her.

Dear friends and family,
I greet you once again this beautiful Lord's Day from my dear Jennie's hospital room. I feel rejuvenated and truly blessed by the outpouring of love and encouragement I encountered attending corporate worship at our church this morning.
Today has not been a very good day for my dear Jennie; she has not felt good at all today. She says that her joints ache, and she hurts all over. She feels cold, but her temperature is OK, we will see what develops.
According to the MRI she had this week, one of the disks in her back, L5S1, is ruptured. They are going to try bed rest and anti-inflammatory medicine all weekend, and if it is not better on Monday, they will try steroid injection into the nerve.
Because of drainage into the wound, her wound vac was shut down on Friday. Starting today, they are restricting her to nothing by mouth, to help keep the wound dry. They added more IV fluids to help with the dry mouth and to compensate for nothing my mouth, and they will start the wound vac again on Monday.
Since my last update, my dear Jennie's visitors have been Barb Cornell, Judy Smith, Sandy Thomas, Lu Ann Clouser, and Linda Hicks.
I would like to give a very special thanks to all of you who have sent cheerful cards to help lift her spirit. I tape them on the wall in front of her, and I believe it gives her a great deal of encouragement when she sees all of them up on the wall. Most of all, thanks for your care, concern, and most of all your prayers.
Standing on the promises,
Tom
