Hi, I was telling someone about my upcoming surgery (self pay because it is an exclusion on my health insurance policy) and she told me that it is a law in Indiana that the surgery HAS to be covered? I said she was crazy. Does anyone else know if this is true? Any insurance company can deny the surgery, even if it isn't an exclusion, can't they? Thanks, Tara

There is a law, but it is for the federal workers or state workers, brain fart.... Pretty much ins can do as they want and they do too.....sad but true
