Saw DR for 1 week check up!

She thinks I look great and am healing well. She took out my drain (thank you God) and told me to keep up the good work. I am very pleased so far and feel that the healing is going good. I hope things stay on track. I am having a hard time eating, I just have no room. I am keeping up my water and protein, but really have to work on the food. I hope this changes soon. I am really tired and she thinks that's normal and that I need to rest. I am on my way back to bed now just wanted to say Hi to you all and thanks for all the positive thoughts and prayers. That is such good news!! I'm glad that drain was removed too! UGH! Get plenty of rest and hopefully you'll be able to eat a little more! And stop squeezing them!! LOL!!!

Hi Carmen, Glad you are doing so well. As long as you keep up your protein and water, you will continue to heal well. Regular food will come back as you are ready. Even people with normal stomachs tend to eat less after major surgery! Keeping you in my thoughts! Cindy

smart doc cos you looked great before..lol...keep the fluids coming. once you are back to as normal as you can ever be ....you will eat and make up for lack of it now...hey you gonna be able to make it sat night????
